Dear Colleagues and Friends,

It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 7th International Symposium for Surgery of Upper Limb Spasticity (SGSPASTIC 2027), to be held on 25–27 February 2027 at Academia, Singapore General Hospital, Singapore.

This meeting has established itself as the premier international forum for specialists dedicated to improving the lives of patients affected by upper limb spasticity. The scientific programme brings together leading voices from hand surgery, neurosurgery, rehabilitation medicine and therapy, offering a unique multidisciplinary perspective on a complex and evolving field.

Over three intensive days, we will explore the latest advances in assessment and outcome measurement, botulinum toxin treatment, surgical management — from tendon transfers to nerve surgery — as well as cutting-edge developments in technology, robotics and post-operative rehabilitation. Hands-on workshops and live surgical demonstrations will complement the scientific sessions, offering practical learning for surgeons at all levels of experience.

Submission Guidelines

Abstracts must be submitted in English. Maximum word count: 300 words. Structured abstracts are preferred (Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion).

Accepted abstracts will be published in the digital conference proceedings. Presentations may be oral (8 min + 4 min discussion), e-posters (pdf) or video (3 min). The scientific committee reserves the right to assign the presentation format.

Each registrant may submit a maximum of 2 abstracts as presenting author.
